Eastleigh Labour Party members were out in force in Eastleigh town centre for the National Care for the NHS day.
Thanks to the support of local people, in less than 3 hours we collected over 100 signatures on a petition calling for Theresa May to give the NHS the funding it needs now.
Under the Tories our NHS is underfunded and understaffed.
- Worst NHS deficits on record - £2.45 billion.
- Around 3.9 million people are now on the English waiting list to start treatment.
- 1.8 million people waited four or more hours in A&E last year - up over 400 percent since 2010.
- One in four patients have to wait a week or more to see or speak to a GP or nurse, or don't get an appointment at all.
Labour created the NHS to care for us all, now it's time to care for the NHS.
